Job Title: Parking Coordinator
Reports To: Parking Management
Status: Seasonal Hourly
Oversees parking revenue, collect parking fees and distribute parking passes, assists manager with other duties as needed (tows, lockouts, jump starts, etc).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be honest and trustworthy, able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong math skills. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, write routine reports and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Strong people skills and some mechanical ability are required. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Cashiering experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. This job requires almost full time exposure to a variety of mountain winter weather conditions as well as exposure to moving vehicles in close proximity, while dealing with staff and guests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
