Position Overview

Position:        Company Store Coordinator

Department:  Human Resources

Reports to:    Human Resources Senior Manager

Status:          Seasonal, Hourly

 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the organization and service coordination of the Company Store and Uniform functions. This position may assist with various HR department functions including employee paperwork, payroll, employee events and communication, and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Possess solid computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous cashiering experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and within a functional team; service and people oriented
  • Experience public speaking preferred
  • Ability to be insured to drive company vehicles
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Duties

Store

  • Act as the main contact for employees regarding Company Store and Uniform questions and inquiries
  • Assist with month end inventory and reporting
  • Order food and beverage products, condiments and other store provided items; stock shelves and vending machines; ensure product levels meet business levels and department guidelines
  • Enter new products and adjust pricing into the point of sale system
  • Order commissary food items per business levels and department guidelines
  • Operate point of sale system, vending employee products, accepting multiple forms of payment, and daily balance, transaction reports, and audit drops
  • Promote employee services and products offered at the store and within the Human Resources department
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the store performing daily, weekly, and monthly duties
  • Assist employees and departments with uniform assignments, name tags, and daily department uniform check-outs; schedule pre-season orientation department uniform assignments
  • Maintain and update the uniform inventory; receive, enter, and assign numbers to new company uniforms; assist company with new uniform purchases
  • Coordinate with Facility Maintenance and other departments for daily and routine cleaning of uniforms and cleaning towels
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures

Human Resources

  • Assist with personnel administration including recruiting, on-boarding, employee paperwork and files, time-keeping, data entry, and payroll functions
  • Fulfill employee transactions including employee pass and id printing, dependent passes, transit tickets, and other employee products and services
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee programs, functions, privileges, and services
  • Provide employees with accurate, timely, and positive information using a variety of communication vehicles
  • Develop rapport with employees and departments through interpersonal interactions and correspondences
  • Maintain the integrity of the department in all aspects of Human Resources and Human Service ethics
  • Be a proponent of the department and company’s values, mission, vision, and service philosophy
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Human Resource Manager, the Senior Leadership team, or the General Manager

Physical Demands

Ability to perform sitting at a work station viewing a computer monitor for extended periods of time. Regularly required to walk, stand, sit and occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, balance, reach above shoulder and head. Must use hands and fingers to handle or feel, write, type, manipulate objects; reach with arms and/or hands. Must possess the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, and/or snow and ice covered surfaces, stairs and/or ladders. Must have the ability to tolerate exposure to work in all weather conditions. Possess the ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Must be able hear and to speak clearly to others including public speaking and phone and radio communication. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud on occasion.
